Responsibilities

We're seeking an experienced EHS Safety Professional to support an active industrial/pharmaceutical construction project in Ridgefield, NJ. This role will provide on-site safety oversight during a large interior demolition and reconstruction project, ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulatory and site-specific requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily on-site EHS support throughout demolition and construction activities
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and observations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and client safety requirements
  • Support pre-task planning, JHAs, and permit processes
  • Monitor crane operations and critical lifts to ensure safe execution
  • Coach contractors and field personnel on safe work practices
  • Investigate incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 required
  • Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification required
  • Previous pharmaceutical, industrial, or heavy construction safety experience preferred
  • Experience supporting crane operations and critical lifts required
  • Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills

Pay Range

$95,000-125,000

Travel | Relocation
