Responsibilities

HazTek is seeking a Construction Safety Professional in Danville, PA to support an active civil construction project. This individual will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring OSHA compliance, and working closely with project management and field personnel to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily safety inspections and jobsite audits
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements
  • Lead daily safety meetings and participate in pre-task planning
  • Complete and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), pre-task plans, and permits to work
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Support excavation, earthwork, and concrete operations by providing proactive safety oversight
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and client representatives

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 required
  • Previous construction safety experience required
  • Experience supporting excavation, earthwork, and concrete projects preferred
  • Working knowledge of OSHA excavation standards and construction safety best practices
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Overtime hours may be available.
