The key functions of the Environmental Safety Manager are to support specific project needs and ensure that best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and an improved safety culture and performance is delivered.

  • Oversee all aspects of a manufacturing facility's watewater treatment plant ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Issue watewater and air quality permits
  • Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
  • Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Write NJDEP reports and audits



  • Minimum 7 years environmental safety experience required
  • OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER Required
  • CHMM is a plus
  • First Aid/CPR certified
  • Advance knowledge of environmental permitting
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel pivot tables 

Experience preferred in the following areas: 


  • Contractor Safety Oversight
  • Environmental Remediation
  • Manufacturing
